Houses4Rent ensures prompt and professional services in offering a suitable property to meet the tenant’s rental needs as close as possible (stock permitting).

We believe that meeting the tenant’s needs are important to meet our key business objectives which include ensuring a properly maintained property throughout the lease.

Houses4Rent takes pride to respond to all inquiries within a short period of time as we get told time and time again that a response, never mind a speedy one is sadly lacking in the industry.

In addition, we offer these value-added services:

Monthly Statements – accurate and complete statements will be emailed, faxed and SMS’ed for your convenience (still under construction).

Maintenance – justified maintenance requests will be quoted for and sent to the landlords for approval as soon as possible. Tenants will be kept in the loop as much as possible and once progress is made emailed communications will be send.

Emergencies – we will prioritise emergencies like burst geysers, roof leaks etc., and will in many cases as authorised to deal with insurance claims on behalf of the landlords who are often far away or even overseas.

Repairs – if tenants are liable for breakages and repairs we can assist by recommending relevant artisans and/or do the repairs on your behalf.

Marc Lunau from HOUSES4RENT has been the rental agent for my property in Observatory, Cape Town since February 2007. He has been unusually diligent in ensuring that my property is well-cared for and in obtaining the best possible secure rentals. He has always consulted with me 2 months before the end of the lease to find out whether I wish to renew the lease and to advise on increasing the rental and improvements to the property if the tenants decline renewal. He is very particular about ensuring that new tenants can afford the rental and in fact guarantees the rent to me.
